Sam will come to Germany for a few days in autumn to attract more supporters for our project. It is very important to him personally to connect more churches and individuals with the project, as the project not only lives on financial support, but much more on constant prayer. If you would like to support this fundraising journey, we would love to hear from you. Ethiopia Arise, which we talked about last time, is now being advised by Sam. Klaus, the chairman of the board, is here right now and we are discussing a lot about how to move forward, practically and in terms of vision. We have a very similar vision and want to accomplish the same thing, and it's nice to find a project that's doing the same good work, just a little bit different. We are confident that this work can continue!

Last week, we had another professional training on Monday and Tuesday about the Ethiopian government's child protection insurance policy. This might sound boring but it was really exciting and helped our staff a lot. Then on Wednesday we had a staff day where we talked about the training and Mellie did a workshop on "games" which was very funny and good. Then Thursday and Friday we had another training for 40 mothers about communication in the family, with children, with neighborhoods and generally with people :) In June we had two trainings of this kind each for 40 mothers over 2 days.

Now our first project year is over and we look back on so many beautiful moments, so much passion, training, encouragement and joy!
