Project

On Monday this week we had the Christmas party in the project: a day full of fun, with good food, prayer, carol singing and gift giving. We do Secret Santa every year, it's always a lot of fun!

After that we visited Raji who had a baby boy last week. Thank you for your prayers for her. The boy Eliab is doing well and so is Raji, even though there were some complications during the birth - up to the point that the old scar in the belly tore during the birth.

Next week the project will close until the Ethiopian Christmas on 7.1. It's good for the staff to have a bit of a break there. The groups are now 20 children each, and we notice how it is draining everyone's strength. Above all, everyone in the small group is now exactly 2 years old, which is very exhausting for Ethiopia, Ruth and Burtukan.
 
For Raji we have hired a substitute on Ethiopia's recommendation. She has already joined the team and has experience with children, which is great.
 
On behalf of the whole team of Begegnung we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support in prayer and beyond! This year was not easy and had ups and downs but God was always faithful and just! We trust Him for 2023 that He will continue to lead us and we will experience His provision in all areas. And that is exactly our prayer in Ethiopia for you and your family, that God will prove to be a good faithful Father and you will experience His provision in all areas.
