We are finally through with interviews. Now we have a new bookkeeper from the organization and a new nurse from outside filling 2 positions at the same time. Nurse and assistant (filling in for the new bookkeeper).
In the next 2 months we need to finish the project proposal. For this, as announced in the last news post, we started the survey for impact of our programs today. Every parent (80) who is currently part of the project will be surveyed with a questionnaire of 40 questions. Seble will analyze them with the help of Maria (visiting from Germany) and create graphs for easy visualization. We are really looking forward to the results of this.
Enat will go to FHIDO (Future Hope Integrated Development Organization - a friendly Ethiopian organization) after the survey and run with the social workers there to gain more experience in their particular field.
Senait had her first day last week Monday, everything is going great. She knows where the weak spots are in the organization and we can easily fix them since she has been there for so long and everyone trusts her. Now that we have an administrator again, areas and responsibilities can be divided up more easily and logically and explained to the employees in simple lists. This is a relief and improvement for everyone.
