WE HAVE OPENED!!! What a joy to see the children and staff here all frantically running around, washing hands, playing, learning, shouting around and laughing. This site is now revitalized. This is what it feels like.
We are grateful that we were so faithfully supported in prayer because of it. We believe that it was really favor. Because we heard from another organization that they didn't realize that other Day Care centers were open. Nevertheless, the health department has not been here yet. The officials said that if we comply with the regulations, we are allowed to open and they will not come by specially.
Then the very first week, we had half-day training for just under 40 mothers, a two-day training that was about the basic building blocks of a small business. We had two different trainers from another organization there and they talked for 5 hours each about: the market for business, income, customer service, experience, and training.

It was an interactive and very good training. At the end they left all the material here so that in the future we can answer questions ourselves and guide the mothers professionally on their way to becoming entrepreneurs.
Since 2 weeks there is no water in the area, which means that every 2 days we go by car to a place in the city where you can fill a lot of water in containers. For this the car and our personal driver is really handy. But also for the rest of everyday life he is very helpful and makes so many things easier.
