Last week we had a training for our guards and some employees who will be involved in gardening and planting vegetable beds. We have the vision to grow vegetables and crops, first as much as we need, but then also to be able to sell them.
In addition, we have completed the large chicken coop for about 30 chickens. From this we expect to reduce our costs for eggs and to be able to give special gifts to our mothers at celebrations. The oldest class in the project will be responsible for feeding, keeping clean and collecting eggs.
The vegetable patch will then be the next project on the property. We would need a little extra budget for that. If anyone has it in their heart to explicitly support this, we would be happy to!
The application for land from the government is still taking time. At the end of the week I will meet with a friend who is going through this process and hope to get some help from him.
